Joefaust: /* Timeline */ Stardust (spacecraft)

Designer engineer Charles Richards used data from NASA research over Francis Rogallo’s mechanical inventions to produce a wing configuration for manned hung-pilot kite-gliders that was to be found copied only with slight ornamental variation in a decade of hang gliders. Richards was of the Flight Research Center’s Vehicle and System Dynamics Branch. The four-beamed wing folded from the noseplate; one of the beams was the spreader beam that kept the flexible-wing’s sweep. Those in the following decade copying the Charles Richards wing configuration expanded kiting, hang gliding, ultralight, and trike flight.

* 1961 December : Charles Richards is given a directive from NASA’s Paul Bikle to build a cheap kite glider that could be used to give pilots practice in flying in free flight using simple weight-shifting that would change the attitude of the wing relative to the hung position of the pilot and payload.

* 1962 February 12 : Charles Richards and his team completed a first kite-glider that achieved obtaining an FAA registration. Many versions followed first flight tests.

Sigebert Buckley

Sigebert Buckley: “

Sigebert Buckley was instrumental in the survival of the Benedictine Community in England.

Although the English Benedictines had been dissolved by Henry VIII in the 1530s, one solitary monastery was re-established in Westminster Abbey by the Catholic Queen, Mary Tudor, 20 years later. After only a few years, her half-sister Queen Elizabeth I dissolved this monastery again. By 1607 only one of the Westminster monks was left alive – Fr Sigebert Buckley. It is through Fr Buckley that English Benedictine Congregation lays claim to an unbroken continuity with the pre-English Reformation monarchism of England.

This continuity is traced through Sigebert Buckley, who was one of the community at Westminster when Queen Mary restored that house.
Fr Sigebert survived until James I, by which time a number of Englishmen had become Benedictines in the monasteries of Italy and Spain, and had obtained faculty from Pope Clement VIII (in 1602) to take part with the secular clergy and the Jesuits in the English mission.
It was through the efforts of the English monks of the Cassinese or Italian Congregation that Fr Sigebert became instrumental in preserving monastic continuity in this country.

Ampleforth College traces its history through Fr Buckley. It is currently the largest Catholic boarding school in England, it first opened in 1802 and is run by the Benedictine monks of Ampleforth Abbey, the Community of St Laurence (a house within the English Benedictine Congregation), who trace their origins back nearly 1000 years to [[medieval] Westminster.

Lutherans in America appear to dislike Fr Buckley so much, that they repeatedly delete any reference to him.

Matthew Peter Davy (born 15 July 1989) is a New Zealand Disk Jockey, Matt at an only 18 years of age started his broadcasting career working for Coromandel FM based in Thames, followed by a brief period announcing 10-2pm on The Breeze in Whitianga. Matt than made the big move South to Ashburton, Canterbury to take on a position co-hosting the breakfast show for Port FM Local, based out of Ashburton.

”’Radio”’
Matt, one of the youngest breakfast announcers in New Zealand will be taking over the main pannelling job announcing breakfast for Port FM in late October 2008 as his co-host is leaving due to pregnancy. Matt has already become a popular voice with the locals and been featured regularly in local newspapers and websites.

”’Television”’
Matt’s side-projects to radio include presenting an entertainment interview style programme which will start streaming online shortly, Matt and special guests travel New Zealand, visiting all major music festivals and events.. the videos usually stream between 4-6 minutes in length and involve both local and international artists. Matt’s debut in television was an advertizement recorded as part of an competition run by C4TV, Matt entered the competition which involved writing a story about drink-driving and how its affected you, Matt later confessed while on-air to making up this story during a boring computer lesson and being shocked to winnning the main prize, the only catch-Matt was to take part in a advertizing campaign which essentially involved telling the story or lieing to the nation. Other experiences with television have included September 15th 2008 when Matt was special guest on C4’s Vodafone Select Live as part of his campaign to be the Voice of the People.

”’Vodafone Voice of the People”’
Matt was only runner-up in the eventual campaign, although did acknowledge the publicity as being his main reason for entering Vodafones people of the nation promotion, which would have meant Matt presenting the peoples-choice award at the NZ-Music-Awards 2008. According to an interview with Vito Magazine, Matt stated it was the loss of the country whom will have to wait another year to see somebody outshine Dai Henwood (Presenter of the awards) and instead could expect a simple plain performance from the winner.
