==Biography==
Lance grew up in [[Richmond]], [[Surrey]] and entered into Christianity at twelve years of age.
He entered the school of African and Oriental studies at London University. In doing so prepared for work for in China.
Lambert studied Classical Chinese, Oriental Philosophy, Mandarin and Far Eastern History.
Apparently, the ‘revolution closed the door to European missionaries and his entry into China.’
In the 1950’s Lambert joined and served in the [[Royal Air Force]] in [[Egypt]] He later founded [[Halford House Christian Fellowship]].
Lambert later discovered his Jewish ancestry and became an Israeli citizen in [[1980]].
He now resides in the Old City of Jerusalem. His father and many members of his family died in the [[Holocaust].
Lance has ecclesiological opinions and is well known for this. These views place him in the tradition of [[Watchman Nee and T. Austin-Sparks]].
He is aprominent author, including [[The Uniqueness of Israel]]
He is also the presenter of the video production, [[Jerusalem, the Covenant City]].
He produces a quarterly audio recording called [[Middle East Update]]. This gives his perspective on current events in the Middle East, ‘in the light of God’s Word.’
