Social Security Advisory Committee

Social Security Advisory Committee: “

Annexed: Article creation

The ”’Social Security Advisory Committee”’ (SSAC) is a statutory body that provides impartial advice to the UK government on social security issues. When the SSAC reports on government proposals for regulations the report must be presented to Parliament together with the regulations and a statement from the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions responding to any recommendations.

History
The Committee was formed in November 1980 and is now covered by the Social Security Administration Act 1992. It took over the advisory functions of the former Great Britain and Northern Ireland Supplementary Benefits Commissions and the National Insurance Advisory Committee, and also assumed advisory responsibility for family income supplement and child benefit which had not previously come within the scope of any advisory committee. The Social Security and Housing Benefits Act 1982 extended the Committee’s responsibilities to cover advice on the new housing benefit scheme, replacing the Advisory Committee on Rent Rebates and Rent Allowances (ACRRRA) from April 1983.

Plaigarism in the classroom

Plaigarism in the classroom: ”

TrulyBlue: Speedy delete of OR

it is original research without a chance of seriving an AfD
Plaigarism isn’t always on purpose. Sometimes, students simply do not know how to cite their sources. That is why it is vital for teachers to instill proper referencing skills early on in the classroom.
However, there are those students who do copy maliciously, and professors are cracking down on the crime with quick zeros and sometimes more severe punishment, such as expulsion.
Online professors, though, find their virtual classrooms almost free of plaigarism, which is a surprise to all in the education field. These professors say that students in a traditional classroom are more likely to cheat than an online, because perhaps they do not know the guards and tricks that even traditional teachers have.
Some professors believe that students in fields such as sports, nursing, etc, are more likely to plaigarize because they feel they do not need to be able to write to effectively perform their job.

Uher (brand)

Uher (brand): “

M.J.E.: Created article with basic facts.

”’Uher”’ is a German brand of electronic equipment. The manufacturer, Uher Werke, later known as Uher Informatik, is based in Munich, Germany, and is probably best-known for its former range of portable reel-to-reel tape recorders which were once widely used by professional people in areas such as reporting and film-making. Since digital equipment has become widespread, these older analogue recording machines have ceased production and the company has focused on other equipment.

Their web site (in German) can be found at http://www.uher.com, and the German Wikipedia has an article (in German, of course) on Uher at http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uher.
