”’Amara Holdings Inc.”’ (aka ‘the Fund’) is a Shariah compliant Private Equity fund. Though its managers, the Fund’s primary investment focus is to secure controlling interests in small to medium sized companies in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region, China and India for the purpose of investment capital gains. Sectors of focus in their regions of interest include: Real Estate & Infrastructure, Industrials, Environment/Alternative Energy/Energy and Services.
Amara was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on June 26, 2008.
Before the beginning of 2009, the Fund’s managers intend to take Amara Holdings Inc. public on the London Plus markets via reverse merger. This reverse merger is facilitated by a Special Purpose Vehicle that has been used by the Fund’s managers for the purpose of facilitating other international initial public offerings in the past. Amara’s IPO will take place once sufficient funding of a minimum of 100M British Pounds is procured from private placement investment sources. Upon closing the IPO, investors will exchange their shares in the private company for shares in the publicly quoted company.
”’Investment Criteria:”’

Current Investors: Investors contribute capital to Amara in exchange for Class A Shares in the Fund. Instead of paying dividends, the Company intends to reinvest the income and the capital gains, which will be reflected in the Company’s Net Asset Value per Share.

”’Fund Manager:”’ Newhaven Investment House; a joint venture between Newhaven Merchant Bankers and Investments House Co LLC.

Role: Upon securing an attractive target company investment for Amara, the Fund’s management will then have an influence in the overall corporate direction of the target company. This is typical of many Private Equity firms, as they wish to protect the interests of their fund’s investors. Direct involvement in the target companies will range from full-blown management integration, to being granted a seat on the target company’s board of directors. Precise involvement would depend on the level of investment the Fund has secured in the target company.

Contessina de Bardi (in Italian, Contessina de’ Bardi ) was born about 1390 and died in Florence in October 1473.

== Biography ==

The family of Contessina de Bardi had been a very rich time, but with the bankruptcy of their bank towards half of the 14th century, its importance had been reduced considerably. The family members had however succeeded in maintaining their condition easy by making acquisitions, mainly in the form of grounds, of castles and fortified town, located in strategic places at the north of the Republic of Florence, such as for example the collar of Vernio. They enjoyed a certain fame as suzerains and men-at-arms of profession. Médicis thus had, on certain occasions, an armed wing with the service of their strategy of political hegemony.

Contessina de’ Bardi had two wire: Piero it Gottoso and Giovanni. It closed the eyes on the escapades of Cosme which had an illegitimate son Charles de Médicis. This one was high in the family palate with its two others wire. She survived nine years her husband, died in 1464, and remained a reference for the grandchildren, so that Laurent Splendid the called his daughter junior Contessina de Médicis in its honor.

== Marriage ==

In 1414 she marries Cosimo de Medici.

Battle Circus (band)

Battle Circus (band): “

Ale jrb: Requesting speedy deletion ([[WP:CSD#A7|CSD A7]]). ([[WP:TW|TW]])

{{db-band}}
Battle Circus is a progressive rock band from Auckland, New Zealand. Its four members are, ”’Marcel Bellve”’ (Vocals, Guitar), ”’Yvonne Wu”’ (Piano, Keyboards), ”’Ryan Marshall”’ (Bass), and ”’Jester Staples”’ (Drums). Their influences include the bands, Sigur Ros, The Dresden Dolls, Oceansize, Brian Eno, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool. Battle Circus’ music is dark, heavy, and grandiose, and spans the gamut of genres from psychedelic, to punk caberet.

==History==

Battle Circus’ not very well known and the only extensive account of the band’s formation can be found on the Battle Circus website and reads as follows:

Marcel ws a gypsy traveller, riding through the Rhineland on a banana seat caravan, playing his Bulgarian caliminara star to he restless locals throughout the land. Following a navagational blunder by his lazy kraut companion Boris, the caravan drifted from the Rhineland and found itself marooned in the Meadowlands (of Howick).

Trying to find their bearings the travellers continued on, and stumbled upon a small but notoriously popular gentlemen’s club in the heart of industrial Newmarket. The proprietor of this dingy hangout, a local rapscalion named Ryan, had an affinity for heavy grooves, and quite fancied the strange tunes strummed by the newcomers. After several visits to the brothel (Marcel had quite an affinity of his own – for a boxum strawberry blonde named ‘Jenny’), the gypsies asked Ryan if he would fancy lending his 5-strng weilding talents to the band. After a round of ales on the house, the offer was gaciously accepted.

Following a late-night viewing of Weird Science, the idea for creating a keyboardist arose, and the pair set about constructing what would become Yvonne. Built form random parts of old vintage synthesizers, Milton Bradley board games, Sergei Rachmaninov LPs and a Vegan cookbook, their creation was a classically-training pianist, prefect in every way (except for her atrocious spelling this could not be helped as half the Scrabble set they used was missing).

The final piece fell into place one day when the trio stumbled upon a wedding taking place in a nearby park. From a distance, the group could clearly see the remarkable double kick drum and odd-time signature abilities of The Groom, and decided at once that he would be, once given a ridiculously over-sized drum kit, the skins man for the job. Rushing the alter, the three stuffed an already very nervous James in a sack, and threw him into the van, along with half the wedding cake, two cases of Heineken and a selection of bridemaids (all strawberry blonde).

When James finally submitted to their demands, the group set about constructing a rudimentary recording studio in the basement of the brothel. From within its smoky, ale-stained walls the songs and sounds of BATTLE CIRCUS would gradually emerge, and find their way onto airwaves and stages across the land.
