Sarah completed a Btech in Fine Art sculpture (summa cum laude) at Natal Technikon in 1999.
She has always enjoyed an interest in figure studies and especially in miniatures modelled in various materials. This interest was further fuelled on a working sabbatical in the East where she happened upon an underground Pop-culture movement that combined art and street-culture with the collectibility and play of toys.. Currently she is interested in Designer Toys and is investigating a limited edition range of vinyl cast figurines, while at the same time, continuing to produce work in the more traditional bronze narrative.
