”’Charles Labasi”’ (June 9th 1930- Sept 30th 2008) more commonly known as ‘brother’ or ‘baddass’ was a Korean War Veteran and a succesfull buisness man.

Charles was born in Brooklyn, New York to mother Esther and Father Charles. As a child he helped his dad run his fish store. He went on to join the Navy in 1948 at the age of 18. In the mid to late 60’s he was a plant manager for Columbia Pen in New Hyde Park where he met the Dipaolo family. During the 1967 year he moved to Valley Stream, Long Island where he resided till the day he passed away. By the early 70’s he met his wife to be Santa, 1 of three Dipaolo sisters and had two boys, Charles and John. At this point in his life he opened up his very successfull buisness Accord Transmission with his brother in law Mike, which is still in buisnes today, 30 years later. A very hard working man, he worked untill he was 76 years of age. He was a Husband, a Father and most of all a Hero to many. He is survived by his wife Santa, two boys Charlie and hid wife Donna and John and his wife Monique.
