Phi Alpha Theta is pleased to announce a Professionalism Forum for Thursday, May 1 at 12:30 in the History Conference Room, titled “So You Want to Present at a Conference?” This session will be led by Joe Faykosh and talk about turning seminar papers into conference proposals, choosing the right conference for your research, and the “dos and don’ts” of attending and presenting at a conference. Faykosh is a Ph.D candidate in the Graduate Program in Policy History at BGSU, writing on Franklin Roosevelt and the 1920s Democratic Party. He recently presented at conferences in Charlotte and Cincinnati.

This is the beginning of a planned series for the 2014-2015 school year, titled “So You Want to Be A Historian?” All are welcome to attend; food and drink will be provided.
