Luke Nichter, Ph.D. recipient from the Graduate Program in Policy History at Bowling Green State University, will have his dissertation published by Cambridge University Press, the first dissertation from BGSU to be accorded such an honor. Nichter, whose dissertation was titled “Richard Nixon and Europe: The Reshaping of the Postwar Atlantic World,” has previously received the University Dissertation prize as well as from the Ohio Academy of History. He was advised by Dr. Douglas Forsyth.

Nichter is currently serving as an associate professor of history at Texas A&M-Central Texas, and will have his book, The Nixon Tapes, published this summer, co-authored with Douglas Brinkley.
