”’Lac-Duparquet”’ is an [[Unorganized area (Canada)|unorganized territory]] in the [[Abitibi-Témiscamingue]] region of Quebec, Canada. It is one of two unorganized territories in the [[Abitibi-Ouest Regional County Municipality, Quebec|Abitibi-Ouest Regional County Municipality]] but the only one without a permanent population. It is located between Duparquet Lake and the Quebec/Ontario border.

Daniel Enrique Forero Maza was born on October 21st 1992 in the Venezuelan city of Puerto-Ordaz. He lived there until he was seven when his life drastically changed for the first time. His parents decided to move to the United States of America for unknown reasons at the time. Little did he know that his parents, Sara Forero and Jorge Forero were leaving everything behind for their children’s safety. After 2 years in the States something else happened that triggered the decision to move to Canada. They then asked for Refuge there and started an amazing process of 8 years. Finally … August 26th 2008, they got their residence. After a life-changing journey they finally found peace in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Earth, Milky Way, Universe 🙂
