He is a native of [[Scranton, Pennsylvania]]. He served in [[The United States Air Force]] & attended The Academy of Radio Broadcasting. He began his media career in Los Angeles in 1997 @ [[KLSX]] with [[Frazer Smith]] and later (1998) he joined [[Jonathan Brandmeier]]. After working with Peter Tilden @ KZLA (2000-2003), Shamrock moved to Washington D.C. to join The Jack Diamond Morning Show @ [[WRQX]].
