Liz Adamo, a dual Masters student in the Graduate Program in Policy History and French, participated in the “Migration Without Borders” conference at Michigan State University on Saturday, October 11. Adamo’s paper, titled “Claire Denis, Filming at the Margin: From Imperial Migration to Cinéma Engagé” as part of the panel on “Cinematic Representations.”
Adamo is writing her thesis, titled “Complicity and Resistance in French Women’s Colonial Nonfiction.”
