Alex Sycher, a Master’s student in the Graduate Program in Policy History at BGSU, participated in the Dean Hopper New Scholars Conference at Drew University on June 7th, in Madison, New Jersey. Sycher presented his paper “The Nazi Soldier in Combat: Killing and Dying in German Cinema, 1933-1945” as part of a panel titled “World War II Propaganda.”

While Sycher completed the paper as a requirement for Dr. Douglas Forsyth’s Policy History graduate course, he is also interested in expanding on this topic for his Master’s thesis.
