Rhetorical analysis criteria

A Rhetorical analysis should be graded on an authors ability to recognize and evaluate the original authors choice of:

audience and how they appealed to their targe audeince according to their age, gender, education, etc.
the main point
the purpose
the use of rhetorical appeals
the message and appeal of the message
the delivery and appeal of the deliver
the credibility of the authors
supporting evidence for the claim
limitations
medium
tone
it should have a clear thesis statement
organized
