The Undergraduate Awards from the Department of History at BGSU were given on Friday, May 2nd in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union as part of the Department of History’s Excellence in History celebration.
The Jo Enger Arthur Scholarship for Study Abroad, awarded to a junior or senior history major who is studying abroad, was awarded to Kasie Durkit.
The Stuart R. and Florence P. Givens Scholarship, awarded to recognize a senior majoring in history who is involved in the community, was awarded to Kaitlyn Birgensmith, Elizabeth Casto, and Kasie Durkit.
The Grover and Virginia Platt Scholarship, awarded to a rising senior history major, was awarded to Rebecca Corbin.
The Department of History Award for Undergraduate Research Excellence, awarded to an undergraduate who produces substantial work using mainly primary sources, was awarded to Joseph Lueck.
The Outstanding Senior Award was awarded to Joseph Lueck.
