A trio of Masters students from the Graduate Program in Policy History at Bowling Green State University presented at the University of Toledo’s Phi Alpha Theta Colloquium on Friday, November 14th.

Alex Sycher, a second-year Masters student, presented part of his thesis project, titled “Sex, Women, and the German Soldier of Nazi Cinema, 1939-1945” as part of a panel on “Ideal Representations in Public Spaces.”

Michael Ginnetti, second-year Masters student, presented his paper, “The Rusty Curtain: The Soviet Union Through the Diaries of Anatoly Chernyaev, 1972-1973” and Lanna Demers, first-year Masters student, presented her paper, “The 1921 Russian Famine: Herbert Hoover and the American Relief Administration’s Involvement” as part of the panel titled “Human Rights and National Identity.”
