Fidelia Esther Darmahkasih and Hilary Maiberger will both be performing in Jarkarta, Indonesia this month. Esther, a current BGSU student will be singing a concert in the Goethe House May 30. She will be assisted by Jacqueline Berndt ( flute major at BGSU) and Ivana Tjandra ( former piano major also from BGSU). Hilary, a former voice major at BGSU will be singing Belle with the international tour of Beauty and the Beast in the Ciputra Artpreneur Theater from May 26 to June 30.

Choral Music Donation to benefit the College of Musical Arts
Dr. Stephen W. Hodge, newly retired from his position as Director of Choral Activities at the University of Toledo, has donated his personal collection of choral music to the College of Musical Arts. A 24-year member of the UT faculty, Dr. Hodge noted his appreciation that the choral faculty at BGSU has the interest and enthusiasm to see value in the donation. Independently appraised at $18,000, the acquisition will be used by choral students and faculty for many years to come.

Andrew Pelletier elected to IHS Post
Andrew Pelletier, Associate Professor of Horn, has been elected to the Advisory Council of the International Horn Society. The Advisory Council is the main governing body of the Society, charged with carrying out the aims and purposes of the Society and drafting its policy, and election is by a vote of the members of the Society. His three-year post on the Council begins August of 2015.
