2 Story concepts

1. Be careful what you wish for – It’s evening and Glen just wants to relax and read a book. However, his upstairs neighbor is persistent on practicing his trumpet, and not very well I might add. How is Glen supposed to relax with all that racket? He tries ignoring it, he tries drowning it out, he even tries to dampen it with ear muffs. However, it seems the only way Glen is going to get piece and quiet is to take out the trumpet. After crush the instrument into an indistinguishable mass of brass Glen can finally relax….That is until his neighbor decides to practice his other instruments.

2. Desperate times call for desperate measures – Louis has stumbled upon an old jukebox and would like to hear his favorite song for old times sake. Oops, Louis has dropped his quarter which has escaped from him underneath the jukebox. Will he ever hear that swing again? Louis tries reaching for the quarter but it’s too far away. He tries shoving the jukebox but it’s too heavy for his aged body. Just when all hope is lost Louis attempts to knock the quarter out from underneath the jukebox with another item (I haven’t decided what just yet. A shoe, dentures, or possibly even another quarter). Ultimately, Louis retreives his quarter and selects his favorite song. The ending has a few possibilities. Louis could pick a song that he or the audience would not have expected like rock and roll or vise versa he could pick exactly what you would anticipate like 1930’s swing. There is even the possibility that the jukebox is broken.
