Summary of Technology Survey
Do you currently use technology in your classroom? If so, what do you use the most?
Most answered yes they use technology in the classroom, using computers, power points,
smart board, data logging, classroom 2.0 and Moodle.
Will any of the tools from my resource lists be useful?
Some teachers replied that they might use Moodle, LinkedIn and educational Facebook.
A few teachers stated they might be willing to try some of the sites I have posted on my site.
Which tools from my resource list do you feel you would use the most?
Moodle, Emodo, Moodle, internet reasearch, Moodle, classroom 2.0 and not sure, were the
answers given for this question. I feel it is very interesting how many said Moodle. A tool
I need to look into more.
What type of technology would like to have in your classroom?
Some teachers said they would like some kind of a tablet which I think the Ipad would
work for them. Another teacher said they have too much technology- which I feel they
may not be trained to use it properly to get the best results. Others said they will take whatever
the school will provide. And finally a few commented on wanting to use all e- textbooks if the school
could provide an Ipad for all students.
Overall a great review on technology in the classroom. Most teachers are on the
same page about having some technology and as long as they can maintain classroom
management. Are the students learning, is a questions the teachers continue to ask
themselves as they add new technology in the classroom.
