Hasan Dudar, Web editor at The Blade in Toledo, has been working for more than a year on documenting Toledo community members who identify their ethnicity with the Middle East and North Africa and writing feature stories and producing oral history videos. On Dec. 1, Dudar explained his newspaper’s special project, The Mideast in the Midwest, to the feature writing class, which is taught by Nancy Brendlinger.
