Summary: At war with the Army (1950): Jerry Lewis stars as a bumbling private and Dean Martin is his smooth buddy who tries to straighten him out. Love laughs at Andy Hardy (1947): Andy Hardy returns home from World War Two to rejoin the Hardy family, chase women, and finally go off to college. Some things never change, and Andy finds girl trouble consuming most of his time. He falls in love with a beautiful debutante (who he thinks is in love with him), only to discover she is engaged to an “older man.” Crushed, he asks a gorgeous girl to the big dance, which Judge Hardy and his entire family will attend. But the girl is six feet tall, and their dancing scene is hysterical.
