Summary: This sensitive and beautiful French-Canadian documentary is set along Canada’s beautiful coast in Moyenne-Côte-Nord, where Louise and Philippe along with their three sons, Simon, Felix, and Etienne have fallen on hard times and have just been evicted from their home. Meanwhile, in different part of the country, The Seagull Drama Troupe is setting out on their 7th Canadian tour, this time by way of the maritimes along Newfoundland. On one of their stops in a small sea village, the Seagull troupe is joined by the d’Hauterive family who used to be traveling balladeers and marionette players. As the Seagull Drama Troupe and friends travel across the gorgeous Canadian countryside making music and art, they meet Louise, Philippe and sons. Both the down-and-out family and the eclectic troupe will be changed forever on the extraordinary journey of the Seagull’s 7th Canadian tour!
