Chapters: The mystery of the hooded horsemen (1937, 60 min.) — The Masked Raiders, a mysterious hooded gang, have been terrorizing local ranchers in an attempt to appropriate their land rights. After the outlaws make the deadly mistake of murdering old Tom Wilson (Lafe McKee), Tex Martin (Tex Ritter) and his sidekick Stubby (Horace Murphy) vow to unmask the killers and help Wilson’s partner (Joseph W. Girard) save his mine.
After shooting down a Masked Raider, Tex dons the dead outlaw’s hood and infiltrates the gang. The Raiders soon become suspicious, however, and Tex makes a narrow escape but flees into the arresting hands of the local sheriff (Earl Dwire) who thinks he is one of the outlaws. But with the help of Tom Wilson’s pretty daughter Nancy (Iris Meredith), Tex is released just in the nick of time to bring down the Masked Raiders’ operation of terror.
Phantom thunderbolt (1932, 55 min.) — Heralded as the best of the Ken Maynard Westerns, Phantom Thunderbolt situates itself in the middle of a battle between two communities, Coyote Gulch and Spotted Horse, each of which are vying to become the county seat. Coyote Gulch, hoping to attract a railroad franchise, asks for help from notorious troublemaker the Thunderbolt Kid (Ken Maynard). Meanwhile, Spotted Horse hires the infamous Matthews gang, who attempts to sabotage Coyote Gulch’s chances of landing the franchise by conning the Kid into embarrassing railroad president Charles Eaton (Wilfred Lucas). Dirty tricks and low down schemes or not, Coyote Gulch is the worthy victor of the franchise and destined to become the county’s seat.
Robin hood of the pecos (1941, 54 min.) — Vance Corbin (Roy Rogers), newly elected sheriff of Purvis City, is standing in the way of town mogul Ambrose Ballard (Cy Kendall) from getting rid of the local ranchers. Ballard’s plan is to call the ranchers seditionists and have them hung for treason. Meanwhile, a masked midnight rider (George “Gabby” Hayes), who’s become the voice of the ranchers, has been robbing the rich and giving to the poor. Who will bring law and order to these troubled times in Texas?
Wild horse (1931, 66 min.) — Colonel Ben Hall (George Bunny) puts a thousand dollars on the table as payment to anyone who can capture and tame a wild palomino known as “The Devil Horse.” Jim Wright (Hoot Gibson), Hall’s hired cowhand, is able to catch the steed with the help of his pal Skeeter Bill Burke (Roy “Skeeter Bill” Robbins), but while Wright is away, villainous Gil Davis (Edmund Cobb) murders Skeeter in cold blood and makes off with the horse. Wright is saddled with the blame for Skeeter’s murder and arrested by the town sheriff. Now, the only one who can save him is an outlaw who secretly witnessed the murder…
