I chose clips of music from one of my favorite Westerns called Quigley Down Under. I believe they have the quirkiness that Whit needs, but also the western saloon feel that I want to portray.
This first clip of music, Main Title, would be used in the beginning when Whit is introduced to the audience as a drunken spider setting up his web hammock and passing out.
This second clip of music, The Attack, would be used in the middle of my animatic when the fan begins to throw Whit around like crazy. I needed a faster paced soundtrack that still had the western feel.
This last clip of music, Matthew Quigley, would be used at the end of the short when Whit has hit and slid down the mirror into the beer glass, swims back to the top, and lounges and drinks more beer from the glass.
