HURON, Ohio – From 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, Bowling Green State University Firelands College will host the 44th Annual College Night.

High school students and adults will have the opportunity to obtain literature and speak with admissions representatives from a wide variety of colleges, universities and schools of nursing.

Information tables from more than 60 colleges and universities will be in the main conference room of the Cedar Point Center.  The program is free and open to the public.  Parking is available in the Cedar Point Center lot adjacent to the building. 

Forty-nine institutions of higher education in Ohio will participate in the program this year. Colleges and universities participating include: Art Academy of Cincinnati, Baldwin-Wallace University, BGSU Firelands, BGSU Firelands/LCCC Nursing Program, BGSU Firelands/UT Nursing Program, Bluffton University, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green State University ROTC, Brown Mackie College, Capital University, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland State University, Defiance College, Firelands Regional Medical Center, Heidelberg University, Hocking Technical College, ITT Technical Institute, John Carroll University, Kent State, Lake Erie College, Lourdes University, Malone University, Miami University, Mount Carmel College of Nursing, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, NEO Med University, Notre Dame College of Ohio, Ohio Business College, Ohio Northern University, Ohio University, OSU Agricultural Technical Institute, OSU Mansfield, Otterbein University, Owens Community College, Sandusky Area Health Education Center, Sandusky Career Center, Shawnee State University, Terra State Community College, Tiffin University, University of Akron, University of Cincinnati, University of Findlay, University of Toledo, Urbana University, Ursuline College, Virginia Marti College of Art & Design, Walsh University, Wilmington College, Wittenberg University, and Youngstown State University.

This year numerous out of state colleges will be represented including: Adrian College, Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, Gannon University, Hillsdale College, Indiana Technical, Mercyhurst University, Siena Heights University, Thiel College, Trine University, University of Saint Francis, and Wheeling Jesuit University.

It may seem early in the year to think about college admission, but actually, now is exactly the right time to initiate the admissions application process,” said Divers.
