Premise Revised

September 17, 2008

A chipmunk is awoken from hibernation by the grumbling of his stomach.  He gets out of his rock home and aspies a pile of nuts on a porch a ways away.  He takes a step and falls into the deep snow he didn’t know was there.  He tries multiple ways to get across this new obstacle utilizing his environment and ingenuity.  He eventually knocks leaves down with one of his attempts and uses them as snowshoes to trudge across the top of the snow.  He attains his goal of the nuts. “Determination pays off/ the invention of the snowshoe”
