Kyle Hallowell’s Artc 413 Blog

A chipmunk is awoken from hibernation by the grumbling of his stomach.  He gets out of his rock home and aspies a pile of nuts on a porch a ways away.  He takes a step and falls into the deep snow he didn’t know was there.  He tries multiple ways to get across this new obstacle utilizing his environment and ingenuity.  He eventually knocks leaves down with one of his attempts and uses them as snowshoes to trudge across the top of the snow.  He attains his goal of the nuts. “Determination pays off/ the invention of the snowshoe”

When looking for characters, I had to set up a criteria beforehand on how I would judge something to be interesting.  I came to the conclusion that any character that catches my attention and forces me to want to know more about them is interesting.  Characters who ended up doing this had some sort of either physical features or outfit feature that stood out and got my mind questioning what they were.
