6 Sentence Stories…Redux

1.

Concept: Things are not always as they seem.

Premise: A small creature is frightend by what turns out to be a garden hose.

1. A small rodent type sees a berry hanging from a tree.

2. Hungry, the critter approaches.

3. As he nears his goal, he sees what appears to be a coiled up snake sitting in the shadows of a tree.

4. Thinking that he would like to not be eaten, the critter flees back into the forest.

5. Once he puts enough distance between himself and the snake, he stops to think, then gets an idea.

6. Armed with a stick, the critter returns to the berry and lunges at the snake with his stick. Suddenly the stick SNAPS on the barky hide…barky?

Concept: Try as you may, success is not always garunteed

Premise: A creature goes for a high score.

1. A creature is standing in front of an arcade machine in a dark/dimly lit room.

2. It looks like a simple, classic game but it is giving him trouble.

3. His eyes jump back and forth between his score on the right, and the machine’s high score.

4. The creature’s hands fly accross the pannel of buttons and joysticks before him as a crowd gathers.

5. Within a moment of breaking the record, his sweat laden hand fumbles the stick, causing him to loose.

6. In a rage, he blows up the machine.
