Hybrid teaching equipment for PEHE

A professor in EDHD’s Physical Education Health Education program asked me to provide equipment for hybrid classes held in one of the Eppler gymnasiums. It needed to be compact, portable, and wireless for use with Canvas and Zoom. Here’s what I put together with existing items circulated by the TRC:

Front view of the PEHE Zoom Rig
Rear view of the PEHE Zoom Rig

This system is mounted on a standard height adjustable mic stand with a 10 square inch footprint. It has a speaker, wireless microphone, and iPad with the Canvas, Webex, and Zoom apps installed. It uses WiFi and everything is battery powered, so there are no wires down on the floor. The iPad includes front and rear cameras selectable by the instructor to capture all the action.

Here’s the full equipment list
