Summary: Siegfried recounts the story of Siegfried, the heroic knight whose exploits range from slaying a monstrous 70-foot dragon to wooing the lovely Kriemhilde. His quest for her hand is thwarted when he learns he must first find wife for her brother – a reequisite that leads to Siegfried’s downfall.
