Summary: Vol. 1: February 4, 1951 – Dean sings two songs from “At War with the Army”, the comedy team’s first film with frequent co-star Polly Bergen, while Jerry wreaks havoc at the wedding reception of Dino’s old school sweeyheart, and as the wacky attendant at a drive-in movie theatre. Total run time (52 mins).
Vol. 2: April 29, 1951 – Bob Fosse dons white tie and tails for “Steppin’ Out” and Helen O’Connwll sings “All of Me”, while Jerry drives Dino to distraction as a crazy caddy and a loud-mouthed library patron, cracking up the crew with irreverent ad-libs. Total run time (52 mins).
Vol. 3: May 20, 1951 – Bob Fosse and Mary Ann Niles perform “Get Happy” and Dean sings “There’s No Tomorrow” while Jerry tries to fix a bathing beauty contest so his homely cousin can win, and cuts up as a disorderly orderly and violent valet. Total run time (51 mins).
Vol. 4: June 3, 1951 – Martin and Lewis welcome the five DeMarco sisters, plus the Johnny Conrad Dancers, Sonny King, Tommy Farrell, and Danny Arnold. Dean sings “Too Young” and “San Fernando Valley”, while Jerry disrupts a dog show, a drama class, and a hot date between Dino and an attractive babysitter, playing both the oversized “baby” and his father. Total run time (50 mins).
Vol. 5: January 10, 1954 – The musical group The Modernaires and Comedian Franklin Pangborn guest spot as Dean sings “Pretty Baby” and receives his gold record for “That’s Amore” from Jerry, who makes a shambles of the toy section in a big department store, with Pangborn as a flustered floorwalker. Total run time (51 mins).
