Spirits for sale: Annika’s quest to find the right owner for a sacred eagle feather takes her deep into American Indian communities, where she learns about the anger, sadness, and hopes of traditional Natives. The film explores both sides of an unlikely battleground between Europeans staging traditional Indian ceremonies which they charge people to attend, and Indian people struggling to hold on to their cultures at all costs.
