Summary: Jane Russell plays Mibs Goodhug, the pretty co-worker of the serious-minded bank teller, Johnny, played by Frank Sinatra. Johnny is in love with Mibs, who is exasperated with his cautious approach to marriage. They find themselves in hot water after Johnny receives a generous reward for saving a gangster’s life, becomes a suspect in a bank robbery, and despairs when Mibs is arrested for embezzlement.
