Exquisite Corpse Character Switch

This is Nancy the cat. She is addicted to collecting ever since she lost her kittens to influenza. Two years after this picture was taken, the owner of the cat moves to another home leaving all of Nancy’s figurines behind.

Nancy is devastated. Her figurines were all she had left after she lost her babies. She feels so lonely and just wants to feel loved again. One day while lounging on the porch rail she hears distressed chirping coming from reeds around their backyard pond. She goes to investigate and finds 6 baby chicks nestled together chirping sadly. Wondering where the mother is she searches around. Not finding anything she decides to stay with the chicks until their mother returns. As she waits she falls in love with the babies. She no longer feels alone. When a week goes by and the mother has not returned, Nancy has completely adopted the ducklings as her own children and cares for them with all her heart. She finally has an odd, but loving family back once again.

(Something funny I found while searching youtube for what a duckling sounds like)

Characters That Inspire Me

Captain Jack Sparrow is an incredible character. Johnny Depp brings him to life in a way that no other actor could. All of the pirates of the Caribbean movies would not have been nearly as intriguing and captivating without his character. I loved his entrance in the very first movie. It is perfection. Only Captain Jack Sparrow can have such an epic entrance on a sinking boat onto the dock. He is the of course a pirate and always has puts himself first, but he also has a good heart in the end. He’s also hilarious. I love the things he says and his character always seems drunk. Even down to the way he walks is part of the Jack Sparrow character. He always gets out of every situation and is so clever. I envy his adventurous spirit and his will to be free.

Iron Man is my all time favorite superhero and one of my all time favorite movies. He’s just such a badass. He’s so rich that he can do whatever he wants, but he chooses to make a suit to help defend America. I like that he is an anti hero. He’s not perfect like superman and sometimes makes the wrong decisions, such as when he gets drunk and destroys his home. This is something I love about his character though. He’s not perfect and he’s kind of a douche, but that makes him funny and you never know what he’ll do next. I also simply love the design of the suit. The colors and textures are so vivid and realistic and the animation is spectacular.

All of the transformer characters are absolutely incredible. Knowing now somewhat what goes into animation, these films blow my mind. The design of each character is so unique and thought out. All the small moving parts, the explosions, the textures, and the detail are all so awesome. I would literally get chills watching the films just because of how epic the animation, modeling, and texturing is. Of course their characters are also interesting. How these gigantic robots care about protecting humans. I like how you get attached to the robots. I cried when I thought Bumble Bee was going to die. Overall though all of the transformers good and bad are all unique and very interesting to me.

Viral Picture Characters

This is Bernard.

Bernard is a stay at home Dad from Idaho. He loves his children and his family, but sometimes just needs a break from all the chaos of 3 hectic kids. One of his friends from college calls him up one day and tells him all about this new fad “Comic Con Championships”. Of course Bernard misses going to Comic Con events with his buddies now that he has responsibilities and a family to take care of. He decides to hire a secret babysitter who’s paid double not to tell his wife, who works a nine to five, that he’s going anywhere. He then sneaks off and signs up with his buddy to enter the “Comic Con Championships” in Baton Rouge, Idaho. This picture was taken as he and his friend (the one with the intimidating weapon on the right) come to the starting line of the first heat of the wheelbarrow races.

Situation that would make this character uncomfortable: Bernard’s wife gets off work early, comes home to find the babysitter who is guilted into telling the wife where he is. The wife then drive to the Comic Con event just as Bernard and his friend are starting the cardboard boat races in the pool. He spots his wife in the crowd just as he wins the race. His wife is upset that he lied to her, but loves him very much and is understanding of his awkward love of dressing as a crazy character and competing to be the best wheelbarrow racing, cardboard boat constructing, egg tossing, corn hole winning champion. The next year he comes back to defend his trophy with wife and kids to support him! One big happy family supporting their father and husband in what he loves to do!

This is Cheryl.

Cheryl is a freshman in college majoring in how to be stuck up to humans. She’s doing a wonderful job acing all of her Snob, Clawing the Couch, Hiding Under the Bed, and Pooping Everywhere but the Litter Box courses, but is having a very difficult time in the Bringing Dead Animals into the House course. Since she was a kitten she had always loved collecting toys and her owners would bring her back a plastic animal toys from every trip to the zoo. This has made her a lover of the other animals and she just can’t imagine killing another animal.

Situation that would make this character uncomfortable: One night Cheryl and her friends go out and she gets high off cat nip, during which she believes in her mind that she is curating a zoo. This photo was taken when she woke up surrounded by the animals that she had “put in her zoo”. This of course would be extremely embarrassing for her.

This is Mr. Aldosh.

Mr. Aldosh is a college professor. He teaches geology. He realizes that his students only take his course because they need a science with a lab and that is an “easy A”. Mr. Aldosh is a very shy man who loves to be alone with to study his fossils and such. He doesn’t have many friends and is unmarried with no children. He finally gets tenure after working for the University for as long as he can remember. One of his biggest pet peeves is when students fall asleep in his class. After yelling at hundreds of students over the many years who have their heads down, he decides to do something to rash to stop students from doing so. He decides since he now has tenure and there’s no one else qualified to take his job, to make what he always tells his students a reality. He goes to the tattoo parlor and tell the artist to give him “eyes on the back of his head”. Now the students that take his class, even though they know it’s just a tattoo, are too afraid of their crazy teacher to fall asleep. If their eyes start to droop they start to think that the eyes on the back of his head are actually blinking and looking at them. Luckily his stunt wasn’t so crazy as to get him fired with his tenure.

Situation that would make this character uncomfortable: One of his female students thinks the tattoo is sexy. She’s a little on the crazy side. She starts to stay after every class to talk with him and goes to all of his office hours. He’s already shy to begin with so he’s very uncomfortable with this attention. He’s also used to having his office hours to himself since none of his students actually care about geology. Finally she wins his heart and even though there’s a 20 year difference in their age they date secretly and get married once she graduates college. She still to this day loves his “eyes in the back of his head”. He found the one woman that would love him for who he really is!
