As Bowling Green State University moves toward its centennial, interest in the history of the university is increasing. A series of 20th century aerial views of the campus is now available through the Historic Campus Tour. Visitors can trace the development of the campus from the time when it grew from a teachers’ college, to the wartime days when it provided classroom and training space for military personnel, to the G.I. Bill boom of the post-war years, to the huge expansion in the sciences of the 1960s.
