Archival Chronicle celebrates 100 years of Falcon Athletics

Loyal BGSU Falcon fans
As BGSU’s centennial year wraps up, the Archival Chronicle features the outstanding athletes, coaches, and teams who have contributed so much to life at Bowling Green State University over the past 100 years.
Nearly every male student in attendance had to be recruited to play on the first football team, while the women developed their own intramural competition. Today, athletes of both genders compete in a rigorous intercollegiate schedule. Club and intramural sports, as well as the casual drop-in atmosphere of the Student Recreation Center cater to the recreational needs of the student body.
