Huron, Ohio – Choosing a college, an academic major, and a career can be stressful.  There are thousands of options, and the choices can be overwhelming.

On Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., the process of career exploration will be made easier with the BGSU Firelands Career and Campus Visit Day.

Designed for high school students who will be making career decisions in the next two years, but open to all, this experience will explore everything from nursing to art, criminal justice to computer science, and much more.  The college application fee of $45 will be waived for students who attend the event and apply to BGSU Firelands.

During the BGSU Firelands Career and Campus Visit Day, individuals will be able to select areas of professional interest to explore.  Panel presentations will detail the academic coursework required for the profession as well as the careers associated with the degree program.  Opportunities will also be available for open-ended discussions with industry professionals and academic instructors.

The event will begin in the Cedar Point Center at the BGSU Firelands campus in Huron, Ohio, and will also include tours of the College.

The event is free and open to the public; however, space is limited.  Register at
