12 Concepts

1 ) A character sings aloud to his favorite tune, a rock star in his head, but in actuality just a mundane individual in his basement with a broom. Simple comment on escapism.

2 ) A machine tries to come to grips with it’s “humanity.” Repetitious tasks bore the mindless machine.

3 ) A gerbil or rodent examining something that has been dropped into it’s cage.  Pure curiousity.

4 ) Crying over spilled milk. A child breaking a glass descends into tragic opera.

5 ) You’re your own worst enemy. An individual’s own doubt prevents him from accomplishing anything at all.

6 ) Life is sometimes needlessly cruel. A bad day keeps getting worse and worse.

7 )  Curiousity killed the cat. A monkey plays with a Jack-in-the-Box a bit too precariously.

8 ) Don’t bite off more than you can chew. A character tries to take on a jawbreaker of immense size.

9 ) An adult character goes through their childhood toys while cleaning out the attic, and finds their favorite toy.

10 ) Be conscious of where your life is going. An individual speaks on a cell phone while driving, completely unaware of his surroundings.

11 ) Be diligent. A man falls asleep while fishing, and the fish begin to play tricks on him.

12 ) A great and powerful warrior faces his greatest challenge yet – eating vegetables.

Hi! I think your concept number four sounds very interesting and funny. The idea of the baby crying over a spilled glass and the over-exaggeration would be very manageable to do and finish.

I’m really partial to number four. I guess I just like the idea of a dramatic opera song being played for such an undramatic event.
