Script
FADE IN to a space station floating in space, spinning slightly.
CUT TO:
A DARK ROOM with just a little light showing a sleeping figure. A MESSAGE SCREEN lights up in the middle of the room.
(CAMERA shows MESSAGE SCREEN)
MESSAGE SCREEN:
TK, room 316 has a problem with the
lights. Fix it.
(CAMERA back on TK)
TK reads the message and sleepily rolls over, dismissing the message. The message begins to flash.
(CAMERA shows MESSAGE SCREEN again)
MESSAGE SCREEN:
Now!
(CAMERA back on TK again)
TK rolls onto his back and sighs.
CUT TO:
Inside a DARK ROOM, the door opens, shining light into the room from the hallway onto a dome in the middle of the room on the floor. TK is silhouetted against the light from the hallway on a small floating saucer. TK floats in and hits a switch on the wall inside the room to his right.
(CAMERA OTS of TK looking at the dome on the floor)
A spark of lightning and sparks flash and fade from the side and center of the dome.
(CAMERA in front of TK, looking at TK)
TK leans his head back in a silent sigh and hovers past the CAMERA.
(CAMERA follows TK slightly and lowers to the front of the dome)
TK hops off of his saucer and opens a panel on the side of the dome with his mind (visual of TK passing his hand across the panel indicating he opened it without touching it). TK pokes around the open panel and it sparks. TK recoils a little and pokes once more. A humming sound comes from the dome. TK closes the panel with his mind and walks to the front of the dome.
(CAMERA looking at TK from behind the dome almost where TK was standing)
TK presses a button and the dome snaps open.
(CAMERA from inside the dome looking out at TK)
TK looks in the dome, inspecting it and squinty to see something.
(CAMERA cuts to above the dome looking down on TK)
THE PHOTONS burst out of the dome shining brightly. TK shields his eyes with his hand. THE PHOTONS lower in intensity and float. TK leans forwards slightly to inspect THE PHOTONS, but one shoots forward hitting TK in the head.
(CAMERA medium shot beside TK)
TK staggers backwards in pain. Another PHOTON flies forward and his him in the stomach. He buckles but spins around immediately.
(CAMERA wide shot showing the doorway from the side)
He runs for the door, summoning his saucer and jumping on it. THE PHOTONS fly after him and push his saucer into the top of the doorway.
BLACK OUT:
FADE IN:
(CAMERA POV of TK)
TK is staring at the ceiling as it is spinning a little back and forth and slightly blurry.
(CAMERA against the hallway wall beside TK looking at him)
TK sits up quickly, still a little woozy, looking around aimlessly. TK squints at something in front of him off screen.
(CAMERA OTS looking where TK is looking)
TK’s saucer is on the ground, tilted on its side. THE PHOTONS fly out from behind his saucer.
(CAMERA medium shot on TK’s face)
TK jumps a little in surprise.
(CAMERA down the hallway, looking toward the characters and room’s door)
THE PHOTONS shoot toward TK and TK rolls against the edge of the wall. THE PHOTONS shoot past and TK dives towards his saucer.
(CAMERA CU cut to PHOTONS)
THE PHOTONS shoot toward TK in a tight formation.
(CAMERA cut to TK)
TK throws his hand out and braces for impact. A thud noise comes off screen. TK opens his eyes to see…
(CAMERA cut to PHOTONS)
… THE PHOTONS encased in a psychic bubble-shield. THE PHOTONS hit it a couple more times and the bubble budges a little but doesn’t move. THE PHOTONS glow red and attack the bubble all over the inside, jostling the bubble around.
(CAMERA cut to TK)
TK is wincing, struggling to consentrate on keeping the bubble up. He drops his arm and head in relief of the lack of strain, but now the PHOTONS are free.
(CAMERA cut to PHOTONS)
THE PHOTONS stop as the bubble pops and fades. THE PHOTONS shoot at TK.
(CAMERA cut to TK)
TK notices the shield is down. He reaches back and grabs his saucer. He closes his eyes and teleports just as the PHOTONS hit the spot he was sitting at. THE PHOTONS noticeably “look around”. THE PHOTONS look back toward the room.
(CAMERA cut to TK from just outside the room’s doorway)
TK is standing, leaning against the dome, panting heavily.
(CAMERA inside room, looking at TK from an angle)
He tiredly looks up and sees THE PHOTONS and snaps out of his tired daze. He springs off the dome and stands ready.
(CAMERA CU on TK)
TK stands with a grimace on his face. TK gets an idea. He turns around too see the dome he was leaning against and then turns back to look at THE PHOTONS. His face fades into a mischievous smile.
(CAMERA cuts to body shot of TK)
TK stands up confidently and motions with his hand for THE PHOTONS to come get him.
(CAMERA CU on PHOTONS)
THE PHOTONS glow red again, shaking slightly in anger and coming closer together. THE PHOTONS shoot off-screen.
(CAMERA following PHOTONS)
THE PHOTONS shoot through the hallway and into the room.
(CAMERA showing TK and PHOTONS)
(In slow motion) THE PHOTONS shoot into the room toward TK. As the PHOTONS shoot at TK, TK drops to the floor onto his back. He raises his hand toward THE PHOTONS during the fall.
(CAMERA cut to 3/4 shot above TK)
TK is laying on his back with his hand toward the air[camera]. His hand is shaking and he has a strained look on his face.
(CAMERA cuts to full shot showing TK and THE PHOTONS)
TK gets up and forces THE PHOTONS, now trapped in another bubble over the dome, into the dome. As TK lowers his hand to force THE PHOTONS down more and more, he eventually hits the switch on the dome (while forcing the PHOTONS down more).
(CAMERA moved during the action to slightly above OTS)
As TK hits the button, the dome snaps shut. THE PHOTONS attack the inside of the dome ferociously. TK turns and points past the CAMERA.
(CAMERA cuts to OTS looking down the line of TK’s arm which points at the switch on the wall)
TK presses the button with his mind.
(CAMERA cut to dome)
THE PHOTONS inside are electrocuted into submission. Electricity arcs between THE PHOTONS. As THE PHOTONS become subdued and float benevolently…
(CAMERA cut to TK and doorway)
TK smiles a little. TK turns and hops onto his saucer and hovers out of the room. As he reaches the doorway, the lights in the hallway go out. TK stops in the air, lowers his head, and flies around the corner.
FADE OUT:
