Interesting Characters and Two Ideas…

The two Ideas I plan to explore are:

10. Sometime a small sacrifice can make life better for everyone.A small act of kindness can change someone’s life.

My Character discovers that he has a job to do. He is selfish and doesn’t want to the job he was made for. He then discover what his sacrifice would do. That he task is the last step in creating a planet and all sorts of new life. He decides he could live a pointless existence or grant life to so many other things. He decides to grant life.

6. Never underestimate the value of what you have. You don’t know what you have till you loose it.

The character has something. He hates this thing and tries desperately to ignore it and  to get rid of it. The character doesn’t want anything to do with it. Then he gets his wish and the object gets away from him.  He then realizes the mistake he has made as it reveals  its true nature.

  1.   Scott Wohlwend Says:

Idea number one could work well as long as you don’t get yourself into too much. Make sure to keep the renderings simple at first or else you may be in over your head. It also may be too much to convey in 30 seconds. As long as you keep the visuals on the main character and on his internal thoughts, it should be a good animation.

Idea number two is a very good concept. The idea that you never know what you have until it is gone is a concept that people never really get into their heads (or else they would know what they got ;)). It could also be a very symbolic piece. As long as you keep the location simple, the animation shouldn’t be too hard either.
