It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to pick up a copy of my favorite horror mag, but after seeing Fangoria’s preview of their next issue, I might just have to find time.
In the upcoming May issue of Fangoria, John Carpenter will be featured on the cover. While that alone is enough to persuade me to pick up a copy (and even get a subscription), the cover art will be accompanied by a lot of interesting material for horror fans to indulge in.
According to the magazine’s website, there will be a few pages where Carpenter talks about his film career that has spanned almost 50 years.
Also featured in the issue are:
- Actor Rutger Hauer will discuss his newest, Grindhouse-inspired film, Hobo with a Shotgun.
- A preview of the upcoming vampire thriller Priest.
- Part Two in the magazine’s report on German Underground Horror
- An on-set story on the film Madison County
- An interesting looking report on the Living Dead Doll phenomenon
- Interview with The Shining‘s Shelley Duvall
- and much, much more…
I hope you’re as excited for this as I am. It is not often that horror fans get the pleasure of seeing an in-depth interview with Carpenter and as a fan of the man, I’m counting down the days.
I’m going to make a point to pick a copy up. You should too.
After reading, I learned a lot. This is a good article.
