1.                 Early on, Alabama was shaky and by the end of the 1st quarter Auburn lead 7-0.  However, during the 2nd quarter  Alabama scored 3 times and took the lead.  At half-time Alabama lead 21-14.

                  In the 3rd quarter Auburn dominated and at the end of the quarter the game was tied.

                  In the 4th quarter Alabama scored and took the lead to 28-21, but Auburn did score a touchdown and tied the game 28-28.

                 With 1 second left on the clock, Alabama set up a play to kick a field goal and if it worked they would have won the game. Despite their attempt the kick was short and their plan fell through.

               However, Chris Davis, cornerback of Auburn returned the field goal for a 109-yards touchdown and won the game for Auburn. The footage of that game winning play can be found here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtH-yp0liU4.

               Fans of both teams were left speechless and announcers of the game shouted phrases of surprise and glee.

               Auburn’s win moved them up to the number 3 spot and Alabama to the number 4 slot of rankings of college football teams.

              This game made college football history and will be remembered for decades.

               Auburn is the team to watch and this weekend will play the University of Missouri.

In the next few years the “old campus” quad area of Bowling Green State University will be renovated to be more technology friendly to students and enhance learning on campus.
