Class discussion retrospect 1

I thought our discussion on Friday was very interesting.  Initially, it seemed as if everyone thought that it was a waste of time but as we continued to talk and other aspects got brought up other people seemed to get excited about the possibilitys that secondlife had.  I think if secondlife makes a person happy than go ahead and do it.  If one wants to spend money on something that makes him happy that makes sense to me.  People spend 100s maybe 1000s of dollars on hobbys a year (fishing, hunting, tennis, etc.).  I think it’s important to make a clear distinction that Secondlife and the emotions attached to it are ‘real’ to alot of people.
