After rereading the syllabus, I recognize the comments to the blogs must be longer than what I originally provided you. Once again, I can say this was am interesting video especially since I was able to see inside the FoxToledo station. For some reason, I was shocked about the size of the station. However, I see we are taking this class for the same reasons. I am a Communications major but my interest has always seemed toward Woman Studies courses. I personally think I can relate, understand, and motivate myself through women who have fight for our rights. This class really took my interest because I seem to enjoy anything dealing with art or culture. I believe art and culture can be undefined. When I say undefined I am referring to these subjects as not having a limit. Hopefully my definition is right after taking this WS course.

I agree Simone- I don’t want art and culture to have a limit either! Yet if we’re going to view art as a political tool (as one would tend to in a Women’s Studies class) it’s important to think through issues of creation, and message, and tradition. It’s also sometimes useful to think of how others’ have put limits on the terms in order for artists (and feminists!) to break down those barriers.
