Mr. Jose Cardenas, lecturer of the TCOM department who is on leave this year, organized this one-day presentation on October 4 Monday in conjunction with the BG Reel Productions and the TCOM Student Association, will start off at the Gish, 105 Hanna Hall from 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. with discussions on current trends as well as look into the future of high definition visual acquisition.
Cost factors, speed, reliability, and quality will be addressed looking into Kodak’s latest “Higher Definition” stock.
With technology changing at an exponential rate – what is a good equipment investment?
There will be a hands-on portion In the afternoon, this is scheduled at South Hall’s Film Studio on 4th floor (weather permitting we may do this outside). The day will conclude at 018 West Hall with the total post work-flow in High Definition. Areas discussed will include equipment investment, time, lab, total cost factors and final product delivery not only domestic, but international requirements as well.
There will also be a variety of “give-aways” throughout the day with opportunities to network and ask questions regarding production work flow
