About

In keeping with BGSU’s mission to be a “public university for the public good,” its strategic plan that commits the university to “intentionally educating all members of our community regarding diversity, inclusion and democracy” and its “Not In Our Town Initiative” which asks each member of the BGSU community to pledge to “commit to end hate and intolerance in our community,” this podcast aims to serve the greater good by addressing the avalanche of misinformation about Critical Race Theory that has cascaded through all manner of media over the past year. Our weekly conversations will be freely and publicly available by podcast. By allowing anyone to hear directly the sort of discussions that constitute actual “Critical Race Theory,” people will be able to judge for themselves what CRT is and whether it merits legislative attempts to outlaw it.
