Intro to rhetorical analysis
ncantre | March 18, 2009The two samples had a few similarities in that they both had a specific topic that was being talked about. They also both had a thesis, main body, and a conclusion within the paper. The writers in both samples used many examples to clarify the point that they were trying to portray to the reader. After looking at these samples and I believe that a rhetorical analysis should have a very strong opening paragraph. When there is not a strong opener it leaves the reader confused and disoriented.

Nick,
I totally agree with your thoughts about the importance of having a strong introduction paragraph. The introduction needs to really grab the readers attention and get them to want to read your whole article. I agree with you when you say that without a strong intro the readeer becomes confused and disoriented.
