Jan. 26 visual narrative
ncantre | January 26, 2009There are many things that make a good visual narrative. It seems that successful narratives have a basic theme and are easy to understand what is being portrayed. After comming up with a good theme you can then start to devlop key points and details. This could include music, colors, pictures, and types of font. All of these items should compliment each other while helping to keep the audiences attention. In short a good visual narrative should be entertaining while still getting the point across.
Bad visual narratives really have no theme to them. They jump from one subject to next and really have no flow to them. Bad narratives have no entertainment value. They also do educate the audience.
