Prezi, not PowerPoint

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I get bored watching PowerPoint presentations all the time.  Within this past year, I found out about an alternative presentation tool.

Prezi is a fairly new tool  to use for presentations, launched in April 2009.  Rather than a PowerPoint presentation with slides, Prezi is a flowing presentation that allows the creator to pan and zoom around a large canvas.  The basic Prezi is FREE, although you can pay $59 or $159 per year to get more features.

If you already made the PowerPoint slides, but want to jazz-up your presentation, you can save your PowerPoint project as a PDF file, then import it into Prezi.  This is a great feature!
