The International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors has five summer internships available:
- Cedar County News, Hartington, NE
- Dove Creek Press, Dove Creek, CO
- Malheur Enterprise, Vale, OR
- Sanpete Messenger, Manti, UT
- The Washington Island Observer, Washington Island, WI
Students must apply by Feb. 1. They will be paid $10 per hour for eight 40-hour weeks, for a total of $3,200 and are responsible for their own housing and transportation costs. In a few cases, the newspaper provides the housing.
