The Ohio Newspapers Foundation has several scholarship opportunities for students. Click here to go to the ONA website for more information. Deadline is March 31, 2014. Brief info on three different scholarships:
University Journalism Scholarships– 3 scholarships for $1500 each; sophomores, juniors and seniors can apply.
Ohio Newspaper Women’s Scholarship– 1 scholarship of $1500 will be awarded, with males and females eligible to apply and students must be juniors or seniors.
Harold Douthit Regional Scholarship– 1 scholarship of $1500 will be awarded, and the applicant must have graduated from a high school in one of 8 qualifying Ohio counties.
